Chatra: Pawan Kumar called from Romi panchayat, Chatra district to talk about the irregularities in KCC(Kishan Credit Card) distribution in the region. He added that the BDO(Block Development Officer) doesn't show any positive response when the information of irregularities in KCC schemes are shared with him.

बोकारो जिला के नवाडीह प्रखंड से सुजीत सिंह ने झारखण्ड मोबाइल वाणी को बताया की BPL नंबर में बड़े पैमाने पर गड़बड़ी चल रही जो लोग झारखण्ड के निवासी नहीं हैं उनके भी नाम BPL नंबर है, जबकि वहा की गरीब जनता भूखो मर रही हैं. इसकी लिखित शिकायत प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारि से की गइ है मगर कोई कारवाई नहीं हो रही हैं.
Gangadhar Mahto from Uperghat, Bokaro called up to inform the listeners of Jharkhand Mobile Radio about the meeting that took place for Uperghat to be made a "Block" within the district of Bokaro. In his message he elaborates that the meeting was attended by a wide set of stakeholders that included the ward members and the BDO. Upon the complaint of a person that in the absence of a people's representative the development activities are being stalled, the BDO himself volunteered to come down to Uperghat once in a while to sort out the issues.
Saraswati from Ranchi called up to report about the Namkum Block Panchayat office being locked up by the Panchayat Members as their way to avenge on the cancellation of the public hearing by the BDO. Elaborating on the matter, she says that the Panchayat members had told the BDO about the public hearing being organized on the 20th of March, but the absence of BDO in the hearing trigerred angry response among the Panchayat members. They also protested against the BDO and wanted him to resign from his job. Sundari Tirkey, another officer reached the spot and tried to calm things down. The BDO, Subhra Rani condemned the fiasco and commented that the information of cancellation of public hearing had already been conveyed.
Jai Prakash Singh from Deoghar called up to present a follow up report on the Middle School that has been closed since 2008 in their block. In his report he claims to have spoken to the BDO and complained about all the corrupt practices going on in the school. The BDO has assured him that he will look into the matter and take necessary action.
Saraswati from Chandwa block of Latehar called up to thank the efforts of Jnews regarding a PDS complaint that she reported some time back. Her original report mentioned of the irregularities in the distribution of BPL cards in Jamira Panchayat of Chandwa Block. When the people from Jnews followed up on the news talking to the BDO, they were given a positive response and were reassured that in the coming months a new survey will take place and these irregularities will be taken care of then.
Umesh Singh from Huturdak in Chatarpur reports that the prolonged absence of the BDO from the office has caused inconvenience to many in the village. Singh himself has been unable to obtain a residence certificate though he has made several rounds of the BDO office for 15 days. Because of this he is unable to participate in the Air Force programme for which he needs to submit a residence certificate.
