Hello friends, and greetings to our dear listeners. I am Ramkaran, from Mal Bazar village, Deoria district, Uttar Pradesh. I am completely visually impaired. When it comes to washing utensils and clothes, or doing household chores, most of the time, I do these tasks myself. I learned these skills at Durga Kund Blind School. For example, I learned how to carry water in the house, clean the house, sweep, wash clothes, chop onions, garlic, and do other cooking-related tasks. When I first went to the blind school in Banaras, I noticed that boys there were managing classroom chores themselves—sweeping, cleaning, and keeping their spaces tidy. That’s when I realized that at home, we were never taught these skills because people assumed we wouldn’t be able to do them. Most of our training in household work came from the Banaras Blind School. I feel that many visually impaired people do not get any training at home because people often think that visually impaired individuals can only sing or play instruments and cannot do any other work. This is a misconception. So, to remove these misconceptions, you can either showcase the work done by visually impaired people at home, or use some other medium to promote awareness. This way, people in rural areas will understand the truth, visually impaired individuals can learn new skills, and awareness will increase in households so that they can learn and become independent. With this message, I thank you all.

Hello friends, greetings to all of you. My name is Sonu Gupta. I am a person with complete visual impairment (blind in both eyes) and a digital creator. I have started my own self-employment. Friends, you’ll be happy to know that despite being visually impaired, I have achieved significant progress in the field of AI technology. I have learned many skills with God’s grace—such as creating images from imagination based on your photos, and many other creative works. I still remember those days when people wouldn’t even let me touch a keypad phone. At that time, I left a recording at our Wadi (institution/office), requesting the contact number of an organization that supports people between the ages of 18 to 45. The officials at our Wadi helped me by providing the number. We can never repay the kindness of these people. Along with technology, I have also gained strong skills in Braille. My Hindi reading is very good and my writing is fairly good as well. I always move forward by keeping both modern technology and Louis Braille’s system together, because we never know when Braille may be needed—technology is not available everywhere. Friends, I also run a YouTube channel, and I truly need your love and support. I humbly request the respected officials of our Wadi as well—please support my YouTube channel, considering me as your younger brother. I create horror content. My channel name is: Sonu Gupta Ghost Story TV (English: Sonu Gupta Ghost Story TV) If you have any horror stories, please share them on my Instagram ID: sonugupta261 I hope you liked this information. With folded hands, paying tribute to Louis Braille, I just want to say one thing—we should never forget that time when people with disabilities were looked at with disrespect. Since Louis Braille gave the world the Braille system, the lives of millions of visually impaired people have changed.
