Raju Kumar from Chatra block of Chatra district called up to provide his opinion about the discussion on water. He said that in his village the ponds dug by the government donot have water in them but some ponds which were dug-out many years ago have enough water. Those ponds are looked after by the Panchayat and local residents, the youths are appointed to look after the ponds and also use it as a fishery. The money earned after selling those fish are spent for the welfare of the village.
