Despite provisions for reservation, visually impaired persons are often not given the benefit of PwD quota. We want to understand why persons with visual impairment are excluded, even though disability recruitment provisions exist in rural and other departments. This appears to be discriminatory. We request Hamari Vaani to raise this issue and seek clarification on the guidelines so that equal opportunities are ensured for visually impaired persons across all departments.
