Greetings. I am Virendra Gandhar speaking from Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. Swagat, you had asked about livelihood, and since you know me quite well, I would like to share my experience. I am currently working as a teacher in an aided institution called Abhilasha. As the years of my service are gradually nearing completion, I often reflect on the journey of our students and the impact of education on their lives. The Hamari Vaani team has also visited our school campus and witnessed the work being done there. Over time, I have shared several recordings about our students who have gone on to build successful careers and lead independent lives. For example, Kirtan Chandravanshi, a former student of our school, is now working as a bank manager. Another former student, Sarita Sahu, is employed as a stenographer in Delhi. Recently, one of our students, Jain Kawach, secured a position as a consultant in a school in a village near Raipur. Many other students from our institution are working in government and private sector jobs. Some visually impaired students are engaged in electrical work, while others have established livelihoods through tailoring and similar professions. Several former students and even some of our former teachers have gone on to become government teachers. It is encouraging to see that many children who studied at Abhilasha are now standing on their own feet, earning a livelihood, and contributing positively to society. Their success demonstrates the importance of education, skills, and determination in building an independent life.
