Asking about mobility training.
Greetings to everyone. I am speaking from Uttar Pradesh and would like to share some information for visually impaired boys and girls who are applying for a smartphone assistance scheme. If a visually impaired person has passed Class 10 and wishes to apply for a smartphone, the following documents may be required: UDID Card or Disability Certificate (photocopy) Medical Certificate (photocopy) Aadhaar Card (photocopy) Caste Certificate, if applicable (photocopy) Residence/Domicile Certificate (photocopy) Class 10 Marksheet or Passing Certificate (photocopy) Four passport-size photographs Income Certificate (photocopy) If the visually impaired applicant does not have personal income and is dependent on family members, the income certificate of a parent or guardian may be accepted, depending on the scheme requirements. Applicants should ensure that all documents are complete and up to date before submitting their application. Those who meet the eligibility criteria may be able to receive a smartphone through the program
Greetings. I am Virendra Gandhar speaking from Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. I feel that many of the recordings being shared these days are not always making the best use of the platform. For example, people frequently ask for phone numbers to listen to songs or stories. While there is nothing wrong with enjoying songs and stories, today there are many ways to access them. Songs can be heard through mobile phones, television channels, radio, and various digital platforms. Similarly, stories can be found through smartphones, audio platforms, books, and even by spending time with elders such as grandparents, who can share valuable experiences and traditional stories. In my opinion, Hamari Vaani is a unique platform, especially for persons with disabilities. Therefore, it would be more meaningful if questions and discussions focused on disability-related issues, accessibility, education, employment, government schemes, assistive technology, rehabilitation, and other topics that can genuinely help community members. At the same time, some general questions, such as where to apply for a ration card or where a UDID card is issued, can often be answered by local teachers, officials, or educated people in the community. Hamari Vaani can create greater value when it is used to discuss issues that require shared experiences, specialized knowledge, and community support. Let us all work together to maintain the purpose and usefulness of the platform by asking thoughtful questions, sharing valuable information, and contributing content that benefits the visually impaired and disability community. Thank you.
Hello everyone. Greetings from Dolan Singh. I am speaking from Nagpur, Maharashtra, and I am a 100% visually impaired person. I would like to request all my blind brothers and sisters for some information. If anyone has received or knows about the waiting list related to the West Bengal/Kolkata region, please let me know through Hamari Vaani. My email account is currently inaccessible because I have forgotten the password, so I am unable to check whether any notification has been received. I have learned that waiting list updates have already been issued for Maharashtra and some other states. Therefore, I request everyone who was on a waiting list to check their registered email accounts carefully. If anyone has information about the West Bengal/Kolkata waiting list, please share it with me through Hamari Vaani. Thank you for your support and cooperation. Stay connected with Hamari Vaani.
Hello everyone. Greetings to all the listeners of Hamari Vaani. I am Dolan Singh speaking from Nagpur, Maharashtra, and I am a 100% visually impaired person. I would like to share an important message for those candidates who appeared for the RRB Group D examination during 2018–2019 and were placed on the waiting list. I request all such candidates to check their registered email accounts regularly and take advantage of any communication they may have received. According to the information available, candidates from the waiting list are currently being considered in some cases. Greetings to everyone on Hamari Vaani. I am Mohammad Alam from Samastipur district, Bihar, and I am a 100% visually impaired person. Earlier, I had shared the contact number of a Braille Press in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, from where visually impaired students can obtain Braille books free of cost. Since many people may not have heard the earlier recording, I am sharing the information again. The contact number of the Muzaffarpur Braille Press is: 9065415286. Students who need Braille books can contact this number. When you call, they may ask for your name, address, and educational details. You will also be required to send a copy of your Aadhaar Card and UDID (Unique Disability ID) Card. In addition, you may need a letter or certificate from your school confirming that you are a student of that institution. Before visiting the Braille Press, make sure you carry your original Aadhaar Card and UDID Card, as these documents may be checked at the entrance. It is advisable to complete the document verification process over the phone first and then visit as instructed. I am sharing this information again so that all visually impaired students who need Braille books can benefit from this service. Thank you.
Good morning. I am Srikant Sir speaking. I would like to share a suggestion through our platform. It would be very useful if listeners and contributors regularly share important information related to employment opportunities. Whenever a job vacancy is announced, details such as the name of the post, number of vacancies, eligibility criteria, application process, and important dates should be explained clearly. This would help many visually impaired friends stay informed and apply for suitable opportunities. I would also like to request that information about CRI/RCI-related training programs be shared regularly. Many visually impaired students, teachers, lecturers, and professionals benefit from such programs. Whenever there are online or offline RCI-recognized courses, training programs, workshops, or certification opportunities, contributors should share complete details, including dates, duration, eligibility, application procedures, and contact information.
Greetings. I would like to directly respond to Asif Khan from Muzaffarnagar. You mentioned that you had appeared for your Intermediate examination through National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), but your result has not been received yet and you want to fill out further forms. Brother, it is important to clearly explain whether you are talking about the NIOS Public Examination result or an On-Demand Examination result. The information can be checked properly only after knowing the exact examination type. For accurate information, you should directly contact the NIOS helpline or check the official result portal. The NIOS toll-free helpline number is 1800-180-9393. The official NIOS result website is also available for checking results and examination updates. Another support number shared for assistance is 8800044334. You may contact this number for guidance related to NIOS-related queries. According to available NIOS information, results are generally published through the official result portal, and students can check them using their enrolment number.
