Today's Head lines News(12/09/2025)

Some of our friends are saying that the pension in Uttar Pradesh is about to increase, and it's been told that from October 10, the increased pension will start getting deposited into their accounts. However, no exact information has been provided yet regarding how much the increase will be. Naturally, hearing such news creates curiosity among people — whether the news is true or not, and where one can get accurate and official information about it. So, there’s no need to panic. First of all, remember this — if the pension amount has really increased, it will be reflected in your bank account, and you can verify it from there too. If you want to get exact and verified information about this good news, you can call the Pension Helpline. But remember — only residents of Uttar Pradesh should call this number. The helpline number is active and functional — the call gets connected and conversations happen. The number is: 1800 180 1995 (That is: 1 8 0 0 1 8 0 1 9 9 5) You can call this number and get the correct and official answer — whether the pension in UP has truly increased or not. We hope that if you had any doubts in your mind, you’ll be able to get them cleared from this source. There’s no need to worry — just be patient. As of now, we haven’t come across any official news about a general pension increase. However, we did hear about an update related to the Farmer Pension — which is now said to be ₹9,000. For farmer pension-related information, you can also call the Kisan Call Center Helpline: The number is: 1800 180 1551 (That is: 1 8 0 0 1 8 0 1 5 5 1) You can call anytime between 6 AM to 10 PM to get information. Thank you to all of you for staying connected with our message. Our aim is to research and provide accurate and verified information. We hope this helps you.

"Hello friends, as information about a fraud has been shared here on this platform, such frauds keep happening regularly. This is a serious and dangerous matter. I want to share a related experience: I have also been receiving such fraud calls. They advertise things like getting a plot in Gurugram for just ₹2100. When I tried to inquire further, I reached something like a customer care where the call remains on hold with music playing, and when the employee picks up, they just hang up or don’t talk properly. I have already blacklisted many such numbers, but the fraud calls keep coming, and I fear my blacklist might fill up at this rate. When I try calling the national cyber helpline 1930 (not 1950), it doesn't connect from my location in Himachal. So I request you to please provide me with an 1800-series helpline number for the Haryana Cyber Department, or any other official number where I can report such frauds. These people make different schemes—sometimes claiming a flat in Gurugram, a shop, and just today I got a fresh call offering a plot in Ghataushi (Ghatoushi) saying it’s under IGR (Inspector General of Registration). I just want to say that such frauds should be taken seriously. Do people from Rajasthan or other states also face similar scams?"

"My Aadhaar card and UDID card were issued in 2021. Should I now get the KYC done for my UDID card? What is the period or validity of the KYC or e-KYC after a UDID card is issued? Please provide information about this. I created my UDID card in 2021. My medical condition was already registered, and based on that, the UDID card was made in 2021. Now I would like to know whether the e-KYC period of the UDID card starts from the time it is created or if it needs to be done again only after 5 years? Please provide complete information about the KYC and e-KYC rules — so that others like me can also benefit from the information."

Greetings to our Vaani team, and to all those listening to our Vaani. I am Vijay Kumar, from the state of Jharkhand, district Seraikela-Kharsawan, speaking from a place called Khamaishi. This is a 100% important issue. In the first recording, I had shared some information that is absolutely true. However, there was one point that I forgot to mention in that first recording. That is the reason I am submitting this second recording. What I am talking about is happening in Jharkhand, but I am not sure whether similar things are happening in other states as well. In this second recording, I am saying something that I missed in the first one, so I request you to listen to both of my recordings. Only then will you be able to fully understand the matter. If you need more details, you all—especially the visually impaired people of Jharkhand—should send your phone numbers. I can then call and explain to you directly, if something is not clear from this recording. If you are able to understand everything clearly from this recording, then there is no need to share your number. We are not asking for it forcefully. But if it is unclear, then sharing your number would be necessary—otherwise, confusion will continue. So once again, I request you to please listen to both of my recordings carefully. Now, regarding whether this is happening in other states or not—I don't know. If it is happening elsewhere, I am not sure where exactly. Are government workers visiting homes and doing surveys to check whether people are receiving their pensions or not? Or are people being told to go and get it done themselves? That I do not know. But in our Jharkhand—in our village—it is happening. I cannot speak for all of Jharkhand, but I can say for sure about my own village. In our village, officials are coming to people’s homes to conduct these surveys. A Mukhiya (village head) from Hadeebanja village came and is helping with this process—checking and updating pension applications for the elderly, widows, and persons with disabilities (divyang). That’s all I wanted to say. Once again, I offer my regards to all the officers of our Vaani platform and request that both of my recordings be shared and published, so that this important information can reach all of our disabled (divyang) friends successfully. Thank you and greetings once again.
