मोबाइल वाणी के रोजी-रोटी अभियान के तहत मनरेगा श्रमिक अजय कुमार मंडल ने बताया कि मनरेगा में उनका काम किए हुए 15 दिन बीत गया है। इसके बावजूद भी उन्हें मजदूरी का भुगतान नहीं हो सका है। जिससे उनके समक्ष गंभीर आर्थिक परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। मनरेगाकर्मी भुगतान के बदले सिर्फ आश्वासन दे रहे हैं। Ajay Kumar Mandal a migrant labourer from Hazaribagh, Jharkhand shares that labourers are working under MGNREGA (rural employment guarantee scheme) but their payment is severely delayed. He himself has worked for 15 days under the scheme but has not received the payment. Upon enquiring with Gram Rozgaar sewak (village employment officer), he has been provided withan assurance that the money will come into the bank account in 2-3 days’ time. He has continued with the work and is hopeful that payment will be disbursed soon.
