TN Govt has cancelled all the gram sabha meetings which were suppose to happen on January 26th Republic day. Still you can post your requests to our cell phone radio by pressing 3. Your registered requests will be sent to Dist collector on behalf of our radio. Due to corona gram sabhas has been cancelled on May 1st, August 15th, October 2nd by Govt. In this situation gram sabha which was suppose to happen on January 26th has also been cancelled. Govt has instructed Dist collector to ensure that no gram sabha should happen.

Time duration to add child's name is birth certificate has been extended till 5 years by TN Govt. Birth should be registered within 21 days of birth and free birth certificate can be received. Birth certificate used to join kids in school, get voter ID, get passport and visa, it is also used as a proof for age certificate. After registering the birth within 21 days, parents can add their name in birth certificate within 12 months at free of cost. After 12 months they can register the name within 15 years by paying the late fees in birth and death certificate officer. Children who are born in last year January 1st, 2000, were allowed to register their names within 2014. But the time duration was extended for 5 more years and in last year December 31st the Govt asked to register the names. Since the extension got over by December, people struggled alot to register kids name in birth certificate. Rules for registration is, once you register the name you cannot change the name at any cost, so register the name of the kid only after final decision to concerned birth and death Certificate officer. To register the name if its a village panchayath submit it to VAO. If its a Municipality submit the form to health inspector, in cantonment, corporations submit the filled form to heath officer in primary health center, Govt school. Announcement On Relief Fund For Hairdressers: TN Govt has announced to give Rs.2000 for Hairdressers who have not registered in welfare board. Lock down to implemented to control corona virus. 14667 Hairdressers will get Rs.1000 as Relief Fund in 2 stages. Rules of Central govt didnt allow Hairdressers to do their work. Hairdressers who didnt register in their welfare board will be given relief fund just like other workers. As per the rule workers involved in hair dressing in village and cities should contact VO, and zonal heads. Officers will review the petition and they will refer it to collector. Collector will take action and given Rs.2000 non member Hairdressers.

Due to Corona virus lock down was announced relief fund an relief materials were distributed to to organised and unorganised workers on 7-04-2020. Details of provisions and fund given by TN Govt. TN Govt has announced to give Rs.1000 to Construction workers registered under Construction workers board and auto driver registered under unorganised drivers board. On 06-04-2020 ordered were issues to given Rd.1000 to workers registered under 17 boards. As per the order, workers account id being credited with Rs.1000 under social welfare board. Unorganised workers who have not given the details of their bank till now are requested to give the information about their bank details over phone over e-mail. Once the details of bank details are received, District Assistant Commissioner will credit the money in their account.
