My name is Amala. Through TTCU Kural and Gram vani I understood what is gender discrimination in salary.
I am calling from Yamakalapuram. I was working in Ambika mill. There was only light and one fan in the dining area. After the action taken by TTCU, we have 2 lights and 2fans in the dining area. Thank you TTCU

I am calling from Dindugal dist, Yamakalapuram village. I like to listen to TTCU radio. We are getting to know many useful information. In Yamakalapuram, one of my relative, a girl was working in a mill. She worked there for 3 years. She didnt get the PF amount. She, her sister and mother were on rounds to get that money. We just shared this with TTCU state head Divya regarding this. We told her that she worked there for 3 years and she is struggling to get that PF money. And requested her to make arrangements to get that money. Within 15 days we got that money. Poongodi sis and James sir helped us. Within 15 days Divya mam helped us in getting that money. That money has helped that girl's mother for her operation.Thank you so much. Divya mam helped us alot. She is like a mother for this village.
I am Mohan i am calling from Sanarpatti. I hav a question. I have been working from past 4-5 years. Is there is any work called Work permanence under law?
I am Murugan from Dindugal Kailasam colony. Through vamma minnal drama sir has told a wonderful message. One is, people say that these workers go like queen in van. They only know the van travel but they don't know the struggle these girls undergo there. If parents witness the struggle of these girls, they will die there itself. Our kids are struggling so much. As a solution fro this, we should give a good education for our kids. But we are not equipped enough. So rather than sending our kids to millwork, please send them to some other good work. All parents who are sending their daughters for this millwork, they should go and see their struggle directly.
My name is Malliga. I am a mill worker. With the help of Gram vani I came to know that 12% PF amount is being deducted and even the employer gives the same 12%. Thank you

This question is about Work permanence. He is saying that he has been working from past 4-5 years. He has asked whether is there any ways to make his work permanent? There is a way. Normally, if a worker has worked continuously for 240 days he should be made as a permanent worker. But as concerned to textile and ginning mills, if the worker works for 480 days he should be made a permanent worker. If any mill fails to do it, you can take proper action. If you are taking all the related document to the union, they will file a case and you can be made as a permanent worker.
