1) Section 144 has been imposed across Tamilnadu to control Corona. Only essential shops will be open. No bus, taxis will be plying. except for essential offices, all private and Govt offices should be shut says Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy. 2) Review meeting was conducted by Kanchipuram collector. Representatives from companies and safety officers were told to sanitize the factory and give sanitisers to all workers and teach them to wash hands properly. 3) Corona has been spread to more than 185 countries. More than 3,78,829 people have been affected with this virus. 16503 people have lost their life across world. So far 9 people have lost their life in India and 476 people have been infected with this virus. 12 people in Tamilnadu are under treatment.
I am Vidiyil Veeraperumal from Aditamilar union. I am gong to share about fire crackers accident in Sivakasi. One of the main occupation in Viruthunagar is fire crackers. Thousands of workers work there and they are completely depended on that work. Especially Dalit people are involved in that work. Fire cracker accident is not only an accident but its a sacrifice of human life. Why i am saying this is, the owners of fire crackers are pledging the life of workers for money and business. People of this area are not going for this work out of interest. There situation, poverty are the main reason for this. Our heart shatters every time when we see fire cracker accidents. Today such incident has occurred in Sivakasi's siruparai village. Many of women workers have lost their life in this accident. Everyone of them has abandoned 2-3 kids. Another thing is we blamed Govt officials for this accidents. Because there are rules for fire cracker companies but Govt officials are nor following it. This is the strength of owners. When we give petition to Govt officials about it, they gave irresponsible answers. Govt officials are not realizing their mistakes. when we met dist collector and requested to pass an order for this, he didnt give any proper answer. Being a social activist we are trying our best to reach about it but still we are unable to find a solution for this. The reason for this is we are lay man and we dont have money power. We want to approach court but court and lawyers are not cooperating with us. Til now there is case which is filed properly and got the punishment. This is what we have seen in past days. When proper rules are followed and cases are filed we can reduce the death rate of workers. In coming days lets stop this death rate. Give legal safety for workers and give basic rights of ESI and PF to workers. We will take legal protest to save workers life. If we again trust and rely on court and Govt officials the death rates of workers will increase and take actions to decrease the death rate of workers. Lets be aware and go in search of alternative jobs. Otherwise out kids will have no future.

And he has asked for the ways to get it. What you have to do is, take you company ID card, pay slip, PF /UAN number, adhar cars and PAN number Submit it to Madurai PF office and get your PF. In case your name of other details are not matching in your, please look in to it and after correcting it, you can apply for PF.

I gave him work in my company and gave him salary too. Is it wrong?? VM: Hey,, dont ask is it wrong hundred time like kids. Tell me clearly what kind of case is charged against you?? Client: They say that i have appointed a child labour. VM: How old is Velu?? Client: He is 12 years old. Sir i felt pity of him and gave him work. VM: If you have felt pity on that boy and his family, you should have arranged for their study. See everyone below 14 are kids. Studying and playing are the main rights and duties of any child. But if you make him as a worker, it will affect his growth. And that dangerous for that kid, his family and our country. Client: I did it without knowing about it sir. VM: Wrong is wrong and punishment is punishment. Client: Now what to do sir?? VM: We can not do anything to escape from punishment. But lets try to tell the truth and reduce the intensity of punishment. Client: Ok sir.
1) 7 workers lost their life in Viruthunagar fire cracker accident. Usually it is in practice to give Rs. 550000 by company as compensation for any fire accidents to the deceased family. Govt compensation is given separately. Asking for the compensation the relatives of the deceased family along with CITU union dist secretary and marxist communist party members were waiting in Sivakasi Govt Hospital.Crackers company management has told that they will able to give only Rs. 250000 as compensation. Because of this everyone refused to undertake the body and surrounded the hospital. 2) CM Edapadi Palanisamy said 3500 urban fair price shop will be constructed near the residential areas. 3) Transportation dept has announced that from 5am all the buses will be plying as usual.

I am Vasantha from Ambedkar union. On 20th March branch meeting was conducted on behalf of Ambedkar union. Nataraj sir, Mariyammal and all branch incharges joined together and conducted meeting in public place. In the meeting we discussed about collecting membership fees. we have discussed to contribute Rs. 10 weekly for the branch work. Everyone accepted it.

12 people have lost their life in fire cracker accident at Sittiaparai, Viruthunagar dist, Sathur. Most of them are women workers. Constantly from past few days accidents in fire cracker companies are happeningin Sivakasi taluk. number of workers death is increasing. There are no facilities or structures for the safety of workers. There is no proper gaps in between the building. Many are working by sitting under the trees. Training for the safety of workers should be given. Safety equipment should be given. Information give by Priya head of Semmalar union.
