I am Santhanamari from PTS. Bharathi has asked whether she can get loan from our union. I told we wont help them by giving loa but we can help by referring. She told already she has approached many banks but they are asking her to come some other time and avoiding her. Later we went and asked the bank authorities to avoid her and not giving the loan. The loan was for education purpose. The bank authorities said they done have some documents. I told them to give a list of documents required. After getting the documents you can decide whether to give loan or not. We met the bank manager and gave all the documents. He said he will sanction the loan. This is great victory for us and we are really happy for it.

I am Santhanamari from PTS. One of our member Geetha, she has 2 daughters. Her husband died when she was 30 years. She doesnt know where to go and approach. Whereever she went i.e V.O & R.A office they used to avoid her. She came to the union and told us everything. We went and spoke to V.O, R.A and asked to give an income certificate. Why are you avoiding her, already she is pain of losing her husband. On top of it you are giving her more trouble. For this the R.A asked us, who are we. We told we are coming from union. Till now I have sent her but you didnt do anything and sending her back every time. How long will you stretch this work? That is why i came here. You better give the certificate. For this he asked us to wait outside. He collected all the details. Later they gave the certificate. We consider this as a great victory.
Wishes For Protest From PTS
I am Sanathanamari from PTS. I am willing to talk about Pension. Few of our members were denied the welfare pension due to age bar. They didnt knew what to do and they came to us seeking for help. They said due to the shifting of house they were unable to renew the card. But now they have refused to give the pension for not renewing it. We took them to Taluka office and there was a jamabandi organized. Collector, VO, RA everyone were present there. We told them about it and they asked us to right a letter. We wrote a letter in our union letter head and prepared the petition and gave it to them. Now among them, 4 people are getting their pension. This is a great victory for us. As soon as they got the pension they came and told us.
