I am shenbagam from Vyasarpadi. Today Palanai bharathi mam and DHanam mam visited our place. Many of us here are without ration card. They have given an awareness among us how to reapply for ration card. They took the names and phone numbers to register. They said we can properly apply for the ration card. All the women were very happy. They dont have ration card even after 6-8 years of marriage. On wednesday we are planning apply through proper channel.
I am Pushparani from Vadanimalai. Domestic helpers have registered in Urimai kural i heard this. The worker has asked for bonus and the owner has rejected to give. Their office is giving bonus for Diwali and New year. In the same way we have to give bonus for our domestic helpers. Owners are not understanding it. Even here it was same, then we went and spoke to them and told them that we are coming from Urimai kural. They agreed to give Rs. 5000 for domestic helper. That person has got a bonus. She called me and informed me. In the place where i work, we get bonus only for pongal. That too we get only 50% of salary. But now they started to give 75%. But we have asked for 100% bonus.

My name is Balasubramaniam. I was working in Celebrity fashions from the past 5 years. We asked for minimum wage and to increase the basic salary, earlier we were getting 20% bonus but now we are getting only 8%, Bus fare they are giving for namesake and deducting the money for bus fare, And we also asked to form a team for women. Since we voiced for all these things, we 14 members were suspended from work. Its been 1 year. It happened during last year Diwali season. Till now we are on suspension. From lst 6 months we were getting half salary but now we are getting full salary. The reason for this is GAFWU.

I am Shenbagavalli from Vyasarpadi. Palani Bharathi madam gave a very nice explanation of Jyothi's question about the pension issue in their area. She said you should become members in PTS and if you are above 60 years we can help you through PTS to get the pension. In North Chennai, we are planning to join them in working women's union. Even we want our members to get all the benefits given by Govt. Thank you Palani bharathi madam and PTS on behalf of our union.
I am Karpagam from Perumbakkam. The discussion with the old lady who is getting pension through PTS was really good and i felt happy to hear that. I was thinking whete=her do we get the pension after 60 years but lady told that she is getting pension with the help of PTS and her kids are not supporting her so this money is really useful for her. I felt happy to hear that.
