I am Vijayalskhmi from Kanchipuram dist. I have already spoken in UK. SUmathi and Dhana Lakshmi has visited our Anandhapuram village. We had already distributed the forms to our villagers for joining the union. Today 40 people came and became our union members. We are waiting for the VO's signature. We wish to join many more people to the union and get the benefits of it.
I am Kamala from Mundhirithoppu Kanchipuram dist, they conducted a meeting. Already they took our signatures for 100 days work scheme. Today they said they have conducted the meeting. No one has organized for meeting here. When we asked for not organizing the meeting they said, we dont know. SOmewhere they wanted to conduct meeting, they cheated us and took our signatures. SO we all women gathered together, and yesterday Dhanalakshmi mam came here to organize meeting. We asked DHanalakshmi madam that they have took our signatures but they didnt conduct the meeting.

Urimai kural is helpful for people. Sumathi and gomathi madam has spoken about what all things are happening around us, how people are cheating etc. Its really good go hear about all these things. Many are struggling by not getting the lake cleaning work money. Many have already spoke about it. even i have spoken about the same. Even in Klapakkam many haven't received their money.
Many people have been resettled here after eviction. For us we were from this place so we didnt find any difference. But those who came from other places, are suffering alot. They need to travel long distances which they are finding it really difficult. Even their kids are finding it difficult to travel such a long distance for schooling. There are Govt schools here but they feel the education is better in the previous area schools. So i would like to request to govt that they need to improve the quality of schools and they also need to increase the number of buses. There are few routes in which buses are not available. It wuld be really good if there is a direct bus facility to the area from which they were evicted. Because from many years they will be working in that place. So it would be good if there is a direct bus.

They made us understand the advantages on being in union. We got the information about the advantages of being a member union and few of us had joined the union as members.
