I am really happy for that. But till now Tamil sis didnt get her salary. I believe that everyone will get their salary.
I am Lakshmi from Vadanimalai. I work as sanitation worker. Monthly I get Rs.2600. My husband is a driver. He got only Rs.9000. I have 2 daughters. This salary was not at all sufficient for us. We are paying loan and there are so many expenses at home. It will be good if sanitation workers get Rs.10000 monthly. Please help us. I have 2 daughters.
I am Vijayalakshmi. If we go and ask for salary in work place they are not allowing inside the gate. 2-3 houses where we worked didnt come back. In 4 houses i got March month salary, thats it. 2-3 domestic helpers we went and asked for half salary, for that the owners said they cannot give it. They are saying they are getting very less salary at home. And its not sufficient for them and they are not getting any extra money. I asked them will you give money to us only if you have extra money? When we asked them with rights they thought ok they are coming from union so in one house she said she will give. In another house we didnt go inside. I hope they will give.
I am Karpagam from Perumbakkam. I am a domestic helper. From March 25th I didnt go to work. But they are giving me salary.. Because of such good souls some poor people are living. Many people didnt get it. There are many flats near Perumbakkam but they didnt give anything. Its lock down near my area so owner told me not to come and he also told he will pay my salary. Everyone should get like i got. Please try for that.
I am Shenbagavalli from Vyasarpadi. For corona survey work people were selected and working at 46th division. They are pledging their life and working. They may be volunteers but Corporation is yet to pay them their salary. If this news goes to Corporation officials it will be really useful. Already husbands at home are without any job and on top of it even if the women are working they are not getting any salary. Officers will understand the difficulty.
Grievance: 100 workers were given job under 100 days work scheme. Now they have reduced to 50 and they are dividing it and giving. It has become difficult to get 1 day job for 1 person in a month. Even if we work, we are not getting the wages properly. A person named Vidhya in our area didnt get 1 year salary. 4 people are facing similar salary problem in our area. Only if I record in UK i will get a solution for this. So i am recording it here. Reply by Anna durai: Normally such wages problem for 100 days workers is existing in all areas. We have BDO office incharge, Panchayatha clerk, work incharge will be there. We need to reach them Even after reaching them if we are not getting any solution them we should write as Monday petition and give to Collector. There is chance of getting solution. Thank you. Reply by Anna durai: There a compalint from Tiruvallur about not receiving wages, jobs and 2-3 things. As the result of the action taken by PTS all wages problems has been solved and they have got the jobs too.
Karpagam Interviewing Sanitation Worker - I didnt get any help. Govt said they will give double salary but i didnt get it. I have got the regular salary mount only. We are given mask and gloves only. We didnt get soap but some liquid they have given. I have got last month saalry but didnt get this month salary that too as told by them to double salary i have got regular salary only.
I am Geetha from Chinnambedu. Manimeghalai from Guloor spoke in UK. She said only 20 people worked in the month of March. How to give wages to only those people. Even other workers should get money. Even in Chinnambedu Panchayath there are more than 500-600 cards. Only 50-60 card people only worked in the month of March. Others didnt do and they done have any income. If only March month workers get money, what about other card holders. I request Govt to give wage to all card holders, even if they are not giving March month salary. Please credit some amount. Secondly rather than giving 2 days wages, it would be good if they Rs.1000 or 2000. Becasue lock down is extended till May 3rd. Dont know how people will manage till May 3rd. Their situation is changing. So it will be good if Rs. 1000 or 2000 is credicted under 100 days scheme.
I am Kalaiselvi from Kaklanchavady. 4 months back i worked in a house. I expect proper salary for the work I do. I had so much of wok there and I didnt get correct salary there. They live in Kaklanchavady area. Name is Mutthukrishna Reddyar. I was waiting thinking they will give. So far they didnt give and told me you can tell to whoever you want. This is what i can give.
I am Manimegalai from Guloor. Happy Tamil new year to all. 10 days back i have recorded here about no wages given for 100 days wage work. 2 days back the wages was deposited. Another thing is we were called and told that those who have worked in March month will be given 2 days salary. I didnt know what to do for other workers. Management didnt give any proper answers for that. There are 100-150 people who didnt work in March month. They wont get 2 days wage. In another 15-16 days lock down people will suffer. It will be good if Govt give relief fund. It will be of great help if they get 2000 in their account.
