Today's Head lines News(01/06/2026)
Greetings to Hamari Vaani. I am Shivam Kumar from Saharanpur district, Uttar Pradesh. I would like to seek some information from Munnalal Bharti ji. My first question is related to admission in the NIOS Board for Class 10. I am applying for the course, but I have been informed that there is a mismatch in my date of birth. In my UDID card, my year of birth is recorded as 2007, whereas in my Aadhaar card, it is recorded as 2005. I would like to know whether this discrepancy can lead to my application being rejected. My second question is related to correcting the date of birth in my UDID card. If I need to update or correct the date of birth in my UDID record, what is the proper process? Should I visit a cyber café for the update, or do I need to contact a government office or the concerned authority responsible for UDID services?
Hello, my name is Vivek Yadav. I am a totally blind person from Jaunpur district, Uttar Pradesh. I would like to request some information from my brothers and sisters. I applied online for my UDID (Unique Disability ID) Card in February through a cyber café, but until now I have not received any update about whether the card has been issued. I was given a registration number, but the contact number provided is not responding. Currently, I am staying in Delhi, away from my village, so I am unable to visit the office personally. If anyone knows the UDID helpline number or the process for checking the status of a UDID application, please share the information through Hamari Vaani or contact me directly. I also want to know why my disability pension has been stopped for the last 15–16 months. If anyone has information about the possible reasons for pension delays or how to resolve the issue, please guide me. My contact number is: 6510852525.

Greetings to Hamari Vaani, its volunteers, and all listeners. I am your friend, Ram Pravesh Kumar, from Deoria district, Uttar Pradesh. I would like to seek some guidance. If a card belonging to me is being used by someone else without my permission, how can I file a complaint against it? It appears that the card information may have been shared with other people and is being misused. I would like to know the proper process for reporting such an online fraud or unauthorized use. If anyone has information about how to file a complaint, whom to contact, or which department can help in such a situation, please guide me. My mobile number is: 8810407290.

Greetings. I am Virendra Gandhar speaking from Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. I feel that many of the recordings being shared these days are not always making the best use of the platform. For example, people frequently ask for phone numbers to listen to songs or stories. While there is nothing wrong with enjoying songs and stories, today there are many ways to access them. Songs can be heard through mobile phones, television channels, radio, and various digital platforms. Similarly, stories can be found through smartphones, audio platforms, books, and even by spending time with elders such as grandparents, who can share valuable experiences and traditional stories. In my opinion, Hamari Vaani is a unique platform, especially for persons with disabilities. Therefore, it would be more meaningful if questions and discussions focused on disability-related issues, accessibility, education, employment, government schemes, assistive technology, rehabilitation, and other topics that can genuinely help community members. At the same time, some general questions, such as where to apply for a ration card or where a UDID card is issued, can often be answered by local teachers, officials, or educated people in the community. Hamari Vaani can create greater value when it is used to discuss issues that require shared experiences, specialized knowledge, and community support. Let us all work together to maintain the purpose and usefulness of the platform by asking thoughtful questions, sharing valuable information, and contributing content that benefits the visually impaired and disability community. Thank you.
