Shyampat Das from Chandankyari Bokaro says through Jharkhand Mobile Vaani that Prime Minister declared on 15 August last year to make free medicines available in health centers but now is stepping back from it. Our nation is poverty stricken and majority of people living in villages cannot even afford to buy food everyday. Medicines are expensive today and the poor do not have money to buy it. If the poor had money they would have gone to private hospitals for treatment and Government hospitals were not needed then. Shyampat appeals to the Prime Minister that he should reconsider his decision and fulfill his promise.
