Arpana Bada from Kanke, Ranchi district called to inform the listeners about public opinion on women empowerment through a vox-pop. Parth Sarthi Banerjee, a social activist commented that strengthening the women economically through self-help group formation, micro investment etc. can be an effective tool for women empowerment. He strongly believes that strict and stringent laws and their implication are necessary to rule out violence of any form against women, eve teasing in schools and colleges should not be tolerated. A strong network of active women at the community level should be built up to tackle with any instances of violence and exploitation of women and bring it to notice of police and judiciary.
