बिहार राज्य के औरंगाबाद जिला से सलोनी ने मोबाइल वाणी के माध्यम से भूमि अधिकार पर पूनम कुमारी से साक्षात्कार लिया।पूनम कुमारी ने बताया कि बेटियां भूमि में हक़ मांगती हैं तो उन्हें गलत नज़र से देखा जाता है।क्योंकि दहेज दे कर बेटी की शादी कर दी जाती है। दहेज़ के बाद मायके में बेटी को सम्पत्ति नही दिया जाता है। यदि उसे दहेज नही दिया जाता तो पैतृक सम्पत्ति में उसका हक़ बना रहता।अतः दहेज प्रथा के कारण बेटी पैतृक सम्पत्ति में अधिकार से वंचित रह जाती है
