I am Tirumurugan from Kodaimalai Ambedkar union. 1) Today weekly planning meeting was conducted in our office. During the meeting we discussed about the last month activities done. Our staffs made 150 people to attend the gram sabha meeting. Requesting for basic facilities petitions were given to 5 Panchayath heads. As a result of that 2 trash bins has been fixed in Mangalankombu Madurai Veeran street. Drainage has been cleaned. From many days water was not supplied in Arundati’s street in Puduputtur village. Now Panchayath has ordered to supply water thrice in a week. And people are getting benefited. 2) 100 people attended the conference for unorganized workers on behalf of Kodaimalai ambedkar union. 3) All Govt officials were present in the People related camp meeting in Kadaguthalai village on 29th January under the leadership of Dist collector. On behalf of union, Head and branch incharge and others attended it and gave petition asking for patta document for their houses and conducted camp for registering in welfare board. 4) On 28th January we have arranged for scholarship of 3 children. Helped Andichi to get legal heir certificate. All the preparations has been done to get Adhar card for Poondi Incharge Bosepandi’s daughter Revati. 5) As part of next week’s plan we have planned to join 5 people in Poomparai, 10 people in Mangalamparai village. 6) Asked the office incharges to do the renewal of membership card, conducting branch meetings, Admin team meeting, union renewal etc. 7) Union head Jayasheela and volunteer Sharath will be attending the Legal training in Madurai.

I am Vasantha and i am Deputy Secretary in Ambedkar union. During gram sabha we gave the petition for basic facilities in Thippampatti panchayath. He wrote in decision book. Through union we got to know that if we give petition in gram sabha we get immediate solution. After joining Ambedkar union we got to know union's importance. Natarajan sir gave us letter head and we wrote petition in that. Thanks to union.

Unorganised working women from Palamputur, Pudupattur, Pookal. They gave petition to Valarmathi Panchathi head for toilet facility, proper drinking water etc. She wrote it in decision book and assured to take action. Its a great victory for us.

Monologue About Feb 2nd Conference by Maduraiveeran
I am Vasanatha. A week back i registered about my fall and fracture. Morning it was published. In that Ponnusamy sir told me to meet VO and submit farmers card and prepare to join welfare board for unorganised workers. I will try to meet the people and try to make ready all the documents. Arumugam from Thippampatti spoke. He is paralyzed and he is not able to work. He was a daily wage worker. He must be 60 year old. I asked for differently abled pension. Since he has children he is not eligible for that. He has own house in colony. So he cannot apply. Even for OAP he is not eligible because he has own house and children. But many are getting it. I will go to officers and ask aboutfamers card and register here. I am happy to hear my voice in Nk. Thank you. Thanks to NK for solving workers problem.
