I am Kallu Singh Mahra from Dewas district, Madhya Pradesh, speaking here. I would like to share a simple self-employment idea for visually impaired brothers and sisters. I am also visually impaired myself. You can make and sell a toy called “Lai Lappa.” To make it, you need to buy small plastic balls from the market. Fill the balls with small stones or pebbles, make a small hole in them, and attach a rubber strip to a small wooden stick. Then insert the stick into the hole of the ball, and your “Lai Lappa” toy will be ready. After making these toys, you can sell them near schools or outside school gates where children gather. Children often like such playing items, and they may buy them for fun and play. By doing this, you may earn around ₹100 to ₹200 per day, or even more depending on sales. Most importantly, it can help you start your own small business and become self-employed. For this work, you only need simple materials like small balls, rubber pieces, and sticks, so the investment is very low.
