Hello, I am Surendra Kumar from Uttar Pradesh. A question has come to us through Hamari Vaani from Mr. Kanak Agarwal in Delhi. Mr. Agarwal asks how an Antyodaya card can be obtained, how it is made, and what its process and procedure are. First of all, let us explain about the Antyodaya card. As far as its procedure is concerned, the basic requirement is that your family should have at least six units/members on the ration card. Secondly, if you are fully eligible — meaning you are 100% entitled under the criteria — then this scheme is especially meant for the poorest and most needy sections. You should visit your District Supply Officer or the Supply Office in your area and explain your problem to the concerned officer. Go there with a written application and all your necessary documents. Your problem will surely be resolved. Now coming to the second question regarding the Ayushman Bharat card. At present, Ayushman Bharat cards are not being made everywhere regularly, but if a person is eligible and fully qualifies for the scheme, then if they already have a ration card, the Ayushman card can be made immediately without much difficulty. You should go to a Jan Seva Kendra (public service center) and explain your issue there with all your documents. They will guide you through the entire process and procedure for making the Ayushman card so that you can receive the benefits. If you still do not understand the process, then visit any nearby health center in your municipal or local area where Ayushman Mitras are available. Explain your problems to them, and they will assist you further.”
