Sradhanjali Gouda, A community member from Gudiatota Sahi shared through IVRS that there was a discussion with the WATCO officer about the insufficient supply of water for domestic and drinking purposes in Gudiatota Sahi in the review meeting which was organised in date June 9, 2024. This scarcity affected at least 20 households on normal days. Following the review meeting, after two months, there was a significant improvement in the water supply. Currently, there is a round-the-clock supply of water, and the community is no longer facing water scarcity issues.

Niki Naik from Gudiatota Sahi, Ward 49 shared that our drain was clogged with waste, causing improper flow of wastewater and rainwater, resulting in stagnant water at the roadside. However, the drain was cleaned a week ago, and the stagnant water has now stopped.

Water was supplied properly after the review meeting.

Sushma Pradhan, an SSC member from Gudiatota Sahi, Ward 49, shared through IVRS that during a review meeting in the presence of officials, it was discussed that the water supply was not being provided properly and the drains were clogged with waste and not cleaned. Since the drains are uphill from the houses, water was coming inside the houses. Following the meeting, the drains were cleaned before the monsoon season and the water supply was also improved, providing sufficient water for daily use.

Lalita Kinner, residing in Phuleswari Basti, Ward 49, reported through IVRS that for the past 15 days, rainwater has been stagnant on the roadside due to the lack of a drainage system. This has greatly affected their daily lives, especially as they are daily wage workers who are unable to go to work due to the stagnant water. They request for provision of a drainage system to facilitate the smooth flow of wastewater.

Asish Kumar Pattnayak, the Corporator of Ward 42, shared details about a plantation event that took place on 03.08.2024. The event was attended by the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, corporators from different wards, the CFAR team, teachers, students, senior citizens, and youth members who showed great support. The theme of the event was "Maa Pai Gochatia". He expressed his gratitude to the government and extended a warm welcome to everyone. It was decided that several lakh trees would be planted across different wards to help reduce the impact of heat waves.
