Puspalata Behera, a community member from Shaympur, Ward 22 shared in IVRS that every month we conduct a microplanning meeting where the main discussion point is the recent issues raised by the settlement, regarding the water, and sanitation after the meeting the solution was also find out at community level and if there is any other issues which are not resolved after the microplanning it was discussed in a review meeting with the presence of all MSF members. Due to this microplanning and review meeting lots of problems are resolved and the other things are under process.
Sushma Pradhan, an SSC member from Gudiatota Sahi, Ward 49, shared through IVRS that during a review meeting in the presence of officials, it was discussed that the water supply was not being provided properly and the drains were clogged with waste and not cleaned. Since the drains are uphill from the houses, water was coming inside the houses. Following the meeting, the drains were cleaned before the monsoon season and the water supply was also improved, providing sufficient water for daily use.
