Puspalata Behera, a community member from Shaympur, Ward 22 shared in IVRS that every month we conduct a microplanning meeting where the main discussion point is the recent issues raised by the settlement, regarding the water, and sanitation after the meeting the solution was also find out at community level and if there is any other issues which are not resolved after the microplanning it was discussed in a review meeting with the presence of all MSF members. Due to this microplanning and review meeting lots of problems are resolved and the other things are under process.
B. Sajani Rao, grievance about the drainage issue.
Dhaneswar Sahoo, Indira Maidan Basti Ward 38 says that water was supplied only one hour which was not sufficient for daily use that's why their is sump where we can store the water and use it when required.
Kabita Sahu, Jala sathi from ward 38 Indira Maidan says that the drinking water comes muddy and smells like iron that's why I take the initiative for testing of water and when result will come I will take the report and arrage a meeting.
Manjulata Sahoo from Indira Maidan ward 38 says that each household constructed the water sump to down the surface to store the supply water so that they can use during the shortage of water period, extreme weather. The water is safe because it is jointed with the surface so that water can be stored for many days.
Suchitra Hati from Aigenia Bhoi sahi ward no 49 shares the view that 7 natural water sources are available and they taken care of that for future use at the time of extreme weather and any problem for supply water then they can use it.
Jyoshnarani Nayak from Aigenia Bhoi sahi ward no 49 says that for toilet workorder given and toilet also done but the subsidy was not received till now, also shares that on this microplanning meeting aware everyone to save the water and use boiled water for drinking.
Wasid khan from ward 38 says that I'm not going to use plastic and aware everyone to avoid the uses of plastic.
Jagannath Sahu advice everyone that reduce the uses of plastic and don't through the plastic here and their due to this our environment destroyed, if their is any plastic available in your house then use it as a pot for planting and make designs for home decoration.
Kaminibala Sarangi, President of SDA ward 38 says when new drainage was constructed during the time some households proposed to connect their toilet outlet to drainage but we SDA and SSC members were mobilized them about the impact and consequences so after that they agreed to our decision and preferred sewerage line connection.
