I am Krithika. I am studying. During this leave I went to work for 1 week. Due to lockdown company was closed. I was getting Rs.200 per day. I go at 8am and by 5:30 I come back. No PF was deducted. I was getting weekly pay. They said after lockdown they will call. We are 4 people in our house. No one helped us. We got provisions from ration shop. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am Surya from Ranganayakampalayam. I am working in company. 20 people work there. Due to corona I am at home. We are 8 people in our house. Some how we are managing. During MLA gave rice, and Goundar gave Rs.100. One of our listener has raised has asked her doubt regarding it and Mr. Ponnusamy is clearing the doubt. Lets hear. Caller 1: Before marriage in our house we had farmers card. I knew that. Still I wanted to have welfare card so i registered in it. I am a member in that union. In VO office they are saying either have farmers card or have welfare card. They are asking us to use any one. Do we have to keep only one? Please do ask and let me know. Which one is good for us? In future which one will be useful. Request you to tell me this. Caller 2: I am calling from North Madurai. While getting sign from VO in union card, they are taking farmers card. Whether having farmers card is beneficial or having welfare card is good. I dont know what to do. So please advice me. Ponnusamy: Agriculture workers are those who dont own land but they are fully working in someone else's land for wages and doing agriculture and agriculture based work, and they are fully dependent on agriculture. Farmers welfare scheme was implemented for their welfare and safety. In the year 1982 Tamil Nadu Manual Workers act was introduced to stream line the unorganised workers and give them social safety. Workers who are member in Tamilnadu construction workers union who are doing 53 different kinds of works and 60 kinds of workers who are members in Tamilnadu manual workers welfare board are being benefited due to this. If you are a unorganised worker, you can get benefited by using welfare card. If you are doing agriculture work with dry land and wet land you can get benefited with farmers card. If you dont have dry or wet land and you are not involved in agriculture, then farmers card will not be useful for you. According to your work, it is good to have a welfare card and get benefited. Leone: Thanks to Mr. Ponnusamy for explaining it clearly. We got more information from Mr. Chella Selvakumar from TRLM Union. Farmers card is given to the head of the family alone. But welfare card is given to all the manual workers cum members of the family who are above 18 years. So, since farmers card is given to only to the head of the family, the benefits will be only for him and the who are dependent on him. But if there are 2-4 manual workers in the family, and all the manual workers will get the manual workers card, so family and all the members will get benefited. So rather than getting farmers card, its better to get individual welfare card as manual workers.

New way in every 10 minutes!! Then in 24 hours how many new way should we find?? OMG!! Where should I go for so many ideas. VM: Where there is a will there is a way. We can change in kids mind if we make some positive and useful changes in the time kids spend and the time we spend with kids. Client: How? VM: First of all allot some time for your kids and talk to them. Client: One day I called my kids and told them come lets talk. For that they said " Why?? Dont you have any other work? You got only us today? Go and do your work!!" VM: Ofcourse!! So long you were saying, go to school, go and study, whats the marks? And you were threatening them. Now all of a sudden you are calling them to talk surely they will get angry. Client: Now you only told me to talk. VM: Mam, if we are allotting the time to talk to kids, we shouldnt talk what we want. We should talk what kids like. You should go step by step only. First start with their favourite food, movie or game. Later talk to them about their friends. Talk to them friendly what do they watch on TV, mobile and what are they learning from it. At last you need to come to an agreement with kids regarding using the cell phone. Client: Agreement? VM: Yes!! Deal. If you use cell phone and net to learn something new, we will not scold you. But if you are going to be with cell phone always watching video and games I will not give you the phone. You should tell it strictly. Client: Ok Sir. You please give some ideas so that they can be busy.
