My name is Veni. TTCU union took us for Kodaikanal trip. We learned how they work in different seasons, and also learned about their day to day life. We shared about our work for mill workers. They said it will be good if they have a union for them. They work on daily wages basis and there is no scope for self-employment. Though they work on daily wages, the income is very less. they said, they dont have union and it will be good if they could form a union like this.
