And you will get the answer. One person named Kalarani asked how to apply for income certificate. I asked her to go to e-service center along with the Adhar card of your husband and ration card and photo. They will scan and you have to pay Rs.60 to apply. Within 4 days, you will get the income certificate. If you need any information about your workplace, you can ask and register in gram vani number. The meeting went on well.
I am Poongoi from Sanarpatti. I conducted mill workers meeting in Anjallipatti. They are working in Pannari mill. Many are working there and they are going by Van. For none of the worker PF is being deducted. When i asked them they said, they were told that they will get weekly wages. So we thought of taking weekly payment. And they were told that PF will be deducted only for monthly salary. I think mill has not told them about the benefits of deducting PF and law allows to deduct PF. They didnt know about it. We told them to ask the mill to ask for monthly salary and ask them to deduct PF. I also told them that whatever amount you contribute or PF, even the employer will contribute the same. They were surprised to hear that. In this meeting i have told them that PF must be deducted for every worker. They said that from this month itself we will ask them to deduct PF.

A mill worker is undergoing an operation. They said that we can get money through ESI. To get money through ESI do we have to get it through the hospital where treatment was done, or after paying the fees in hospital do we have to write and get it from ESI?
I am calling from Vedasanthur. TTCU service is really helpful for us. Many of mill going women are saying that their company is giving the facilities they need. TTCU is the reason behind it. Thank you TTCU

Many times ESI will have tie ups with other hospitals. If there is a situation where you have to undergo an operation or you have to take treatment by being admitted in the hospital, normally it will be written in the entrance of the hospital that this hospital is in tie up with ESI. Or else you can go and ask them that you work in a mill or Garment company, and i have ESI facility. Will accept ESI card. Surely they will tell you whether it is available or not. Sometimes they will suggest you that the other hospital next to this hospital is linked with ESI. o you can ask before admitting the patient. Normally all the hospitals which does surgery will have tie up with ESI. You have to fill the application and give it to ESI. In that it will be mentioned that for this operation, this much of amount is allotted. So its better to ask before admitting.
