Today we went to D. Puthukottai and did socio economical mapping. Many students, adult girls took part in it. Also we got to know that they are scared to take part in gram sabha meeting. they said whatever we may ask they are not doing it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I am Nataraj from Ambedkar union. This month we are working for the gram sabha meeting which is on October 2nd. We are making socio economical mapping. Yesterday we visited D. Puthukottai and Jawadpatti. In D. Puthukottai women took and gave their petition on basic needs. They said already they have given petition for the maintenance of their house. But till not it has not happened. They have requested us to do it. Surely we will do it. I think panchayath head and officials are not giving importance for the needs of the villagers.
