I am Nagarathinam. Tamil Nadu Govt, Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Movement, District employment exchange and Career Guidance is conducting a private company job fair at Sanarapatti Panchayth office on 21-2-2020 from 10am to 3pm, age group 18 to 40, education qualification 5std to diploma. Interested candidtaes can make use of it.
One day two people were working. One of them was digging the land in 1 meter distance and another one was closing it. Everyone who saw it were confused thinking why are they digging and why the other one is closing it. Then they went to them and asked why are you doing like this. For that they said, one person is supposed to dig another is suppose to plant a tree and another one is suppose to close. The one who is suppose to plant is on leave. Just because he is on leave, we cannot sit idle. So we are doing our work. This story is made to make fun of Govt jobs. We can say it in another way too. When you have the option like ESI scheme, there are workers who are not using it. For such workers it suits them. There are crores of workers in this country. But only 3% of workers have got this ESI facility. Ho bad it is if you are not using such useful thing!! If we ask when you have free medical facility for you and your family in ESI hospital, they will say ESI hospital is far away, i need to go to Chengalpet from here. Thats why i didnt go. This is the answer we get. 10-15 years there was a survey done. The result of the survey said that Yearly person is paying Rs.2000 for medical and health. If per person is Rs.2000 it will 10000 to 12000 per family. Remember that its 10-15 years old census. If we see now it will be even more higher. If you calculate it, it will be more than your monthly salary. If you see family expenses, such tiny expenses will cost more. ESI is a great opportunity and everyone should use it. Ok lets take a survey in our cell phone radio. Tell us that you have your ESI card and with the help of ESI card i have take medical help for these many people in my house and I have saved this much of money. I am secretary in All India construction worker union and also Consultant in TN unorganised workers union. Now the main problem is, Central Govt is removing all the laws in the name of Set of laws. We are in a dangerous situation. We have formed a Joint Action Group, joining Central union and other unions. State Govt can help children in studying rather that doing that they have exams to fail them asking whether they have studied or not. Its a useless thing. Thats what they are going to do for 5th and 8th std. Now they have banned it. Very good thing. But it should be permanent ban. This is our request. Because in labour's point of view, if they are writing and getting failed, surely they will not re-write the exam. They will be dropped out.
