Secretary: Because till now who all approached union, they wanted to address their individual problems. Union representative: But you are the ones who faced difficulty by voicing out for your friend. Saraswathi: (Laughing) We are not boys we are girls. Union representative: Its not that we should call only boys as a friend. Friend term can be used to anyone. Saraswathi: Its really new thing for us. Thats why!! Secretary: Listen my dear friend, Trade union is not only a place which solves the problem of workers, it also fights for their rights, respect, future protection and for the right wages. Union representative: For that, we should respect ourselves. Calling as a friend is the first step towards it. Whether you are a member in the union or not, you are a worker, thats why you are our friend. Saraswathi: Ok friend. Union representative: Very good. Whats your name friend? Saraswathi: My name is Saraswathi. Union representative: We got a young leader for our union. Saraswathi: OMG!!! Union representative: Friend, questions re the main route to find out knowledge. if you are asking the question, it means you are seeking for knowledge. Even this is one of the qualities of a leader. As per the words by Lalitha your company didnt deduct PF and ESI for your welfare. Each and every worker is eligible to get PF and ESI as soon as he joins the work. But now all of a sudden they are deducting and that too for only certain people like you. It means they have some hidden agenda my dear friend.
