Other 10 elderly people who were getting the pension, even their pension has been stopped. We wrote the formal letter and prepared petition which is supposed to be submitted to the Tahsildar. We have added Latha. She is a woman who has been left by her husband. And another person called, his leg has been removed completely due to an elephant leg problem. He has got the disability certificate in which he has been certified as 80% physically challenged. He was getting pension fro the Govt. From past 3 years, his pension has been stopped. His family is suffering. He has 3 kids. When this issue came to us, we registered the complaint in Urimai kural. Anna durai sir has done works so that he should get his pension again. We have applied for this ration card issue. 12 women has given the xerox copies to us. We have divided the work and contacted ration officer and taluk officer. Next week we will meet the officials.
