Friends, a new Divyangjan Rehabilitation Training Center has recently been started in Dehradun. This center is located at the Gandhi Shatabdi District Hospital. They are saying that blind individuals who are struggling with employment and are interested in work like making candles, incense sticks, etc., can reach out to them. If a group of about 15-20 people can be formed, they will consider and start some work for them. They are aiming to start this initiative before Diwali. I request those who have good mobility and can travel to Dehradun to please go there, get the address (which I do not have right now), and speak to them directly. I am also not fully sure of the contact numbers yet, so I can’t share them, but it’s best to visit the center in person. Go there, talk to them about your situation, and let them know that you are interested in working in areas like candle-making, incense-stick making, soap, or other types of packing work. Kindly request them to arrange work for us. They are already working on getting the necessary documents and setup ready. So I request you again: please try to go there if you can, or send even two people to speak on behalf of the group. I will also try from my side. The aim is to get the work started before Diwali.
