Greetings. My name is Surendra Kumar from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, and I am 100% visually impaired. I listened to the discussion about MGNREGA. In rural areas, blind people are generally not allowed to participate in MGNREGA work, despite repeated requests to village officials and the Social Welfare Department. There is currently no provision for including blind persons in the scheme. I appreciate Mr. Virendra Gandharv's message encouraging visually impaired people to come forward, raise their voices, and actively advocate for their rights. Only through such efforts can positive change become possible.
