Greetings to Hamari Vaani and to all the dear listeners of Hamari Vaani. I am Mohanlal Bharti speaking from Mirzapur district, Uttar Pradesh. Dear listeners, today I would like to talk about advertisements on social media. Whenever we use the internet, listen to songs, or search for anything online, we often come across many advertisements first. As we all know, unemployment is a major problem today. Many visually impaired people are facing difficulties because companies are not ready to hire them easily, and government jobs are also limited. A message from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, is also being circulated through telecom companies warning people not to trust advertisements that claim things like “double your money in 25 days.” Such advertisements may be linked to cyber criminals. Therefore, we should ignore such misleading offers. Another old scam advertisement that has been fooling people for years is related to “work from home pencil packing jobs,” where people are asked to pay registration fees of ₹600 or ₹1000. Some members of our visually impaired community are also unknowingly promoting these fake advertisements. I request everyone not to trust such schemes. If you have accidentally shared your personal or banking information with any suspicious person or website, please report it immediately on Cyber Crime Portal or call the cyber helpline number 1930. Please stay alert, stay aware, and protect yourself. Stay connected with Hamari Vaani, and keep listening to Hamari Vaani. We are all with you. Jai Hind.
