Greetings to the dear listeners of Hamari Vaani. I, Munna Lal Bharti, am speaking from district Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. This is to clearly inform you—one hundred percent—that one of our companions is asking whether laptops are being provided to blind persons. If such a thing is happening, they are asking us to be contacted, meaning if there is any number or information, it should be recorded and verified. Sir, at present laptops are not being distributed anywhere. So please do not believe rumors or misleading information. If we hear or learn about anything genuine, you will be informed through the Hamari Vaani platform, and we will try to provide correct and accurate information. If you definitely need a laptop, you can apply through the Social Welfare Department. You should go there and say that you need an assistive device. From there, you will get a form. On that form, you must get the doctor’s signature and then submit the application online. First, you will need to write by hand on paper what kind of disability you have—its type. For example, you will write that you are visually impaired. After that, you will be asked to mention the name of the assistive device you want. Since you are visually impaired, what would be suitable for you—there you can directly write “laptop.” After writing “laptop,” submit that form through the online application. Your application will then go directly to the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. From their side, a laptop will be sanctioned, and it will come to your Social Welfare Department office. You will be called there by phone, and you can go and collect the laptop. How many days it will take—we cannot guarantee or promise. But we are trying to explain to you, through Hamari Vaani, the government rules and procedures as they exist. Many best wishes. We hope that by following this path, you will definitely achieve success. And whenever laptops are available anywhere, you will be informed at the appropriate time.
