Krishna Murmu, a resident of Kathikund, Dumka, is a victim of domestic violence in her home. Although a teacher by profession, her husband repeatedly beats her and even threatens to kill her. According to the victim, the couple is married for 15 years, and their marital is not going well because, the husband is involved in a extra marital affair. Thus the tension between the couple grows and finally it breaks on the wife in the form of domestic violence. The victim also said that her husband follows her everywhere and beats her at every given opportunity. The victim now wishes peace and wants her husband to not to disturb and to leave her alone.
