Habir Naaj from Kasmar, Bokaro shares through Jharkhand Mobile Vaani that the Prime Minister promised to distribute free medicines in healthcare centers across India but soon retreated from his words saying that the Plannin Commission does not have enough funds. The PM should have consulted Planning Commission before declaring the scheme. In India majority of people reside in rural areas living a hand to mouth existence and cannot manage to spend money on expensive medical treatments in private hospitals. Considering the welfare of people in society Government should distribute free medicines for the poor.
