Umesh Kumar Turi called from Baghmara, Dhanbad to update about the Foundation Day celebration of Jharkhand Turi Samaj Sewa Sangh held on the 18th of March at Kharko village, Giridih. The ceremony was headed jointly by Vasudev Turi and Mahash Turi and was visited by a good number of people from across the region. In their speech on the occasion a couple of speaker discussed about building a prosperous society through education for all. The Women if empowered and given equal rights can change the face of an underdeveloped society. They also criticized about dowry customs, gender gap, female foeticide and other prevailing evils in the society.
