Dr. Ashish called from Ramgarh district to talk about gender gap and Women empowerment. He in particular talked about flaws in Women participation in Panchayat politics where the Women mukhiya's are simply a bait for their husbands who handles all the Panchayat office procedures instead of the appointed Women. He concluded saying that for Women empowerment to really happen and to tap on the expanding gender gap, the Women representatives should start initiatives in real sense rather than showing a virtual picture.
