जिले में कोरोना वायरस के पहला संक्रमित मिलने के बाद पूरे जिले में हड़कंप मच गया है। सदर प्रखंड के हथियावां ओपी अंतर्गत लोदीपुर के 26 वर्षीय मजदूर को कोरोना पॉजिटिव पाया गया है। यह मजदूर महाराष्ट्र के नासिक में रहकर मजदूरी करता था। लॉक डाउन के बीच वह अपने एक साथी के साथ यहां गांव पहुंचा था। इस संबंध में प्राप्त जानकारी में बताया गया कि नासिक से चलकर पहले वह मुम्बई आया। मुंबई में अपने एक पड़ोसी गांव के रहने वाले युवक के साथ मिलकर एक स्कूटी खरीदी। स्कूटी खरीद कर वह सीधे यहां के लिए चल पड़ा। 24 अप्रैल को जिला के सीमा पर शेखोपुरसराय पुलिस ने इन दोनों को रोका। वहां से वह पुलिस को चकमा देकर अपने गांव आ गया। अगले दिन ग्रामीणों ने इसके संबंध में जानकारी जिला प्रशासन को दी। जिला प्रशासन के अधिकारी पुलिस के साथ उसे सदर अस्पताल जांच और नमूना के लिए लाया। यहां नमूना संग्रह के बाद वह अपने गांव भाग गया। बाद में देर रात पुलिस और प्रशासन के लोगों ने उसे एंबुलेंस पर लाकर नगर क्षेत्र में बनाए गए एक होटल के कोरोंटाइन में उसे रखा। राज्य स्वास्थ्य समिति के प्रधान सचिव संजय कुमार के ट्वीट के द्वारा कोरोना संक्रमण की पुष्टि के बाद जिला प्रशासन आगे की तैयारी में जुट गया है। इसे लेकर जिलाधिकारी इनायत खान की अध्यक्षता में एक उच्चस्तरीय बैठक कर सभी आवश्यक कार्यों की रूपरेखा तैयार की गई । हालाकि जिला प्रशासन ने इसके परिवार को समाजिक सभी इसी पहले से ही जमा कर रखा था। स्कूटी पर इसके साथ आए युवक के सैंपल का नमूना का रिपोर्ट अभी यहां पर आप होना बाकी है। The entire district has stirred up after the first Corona virus infected person has been identified. The next day the villagers gave information about his whereabouts to the district administration. District administration officials along with the police brought him to Sadar hospital for investigation and for taking his sample for testing. After giving the sample, he again managed to flee and returned to his village. Later at night, the police and administration brought him on an ambulance and placed him under quarantine at a local hotel. The sample of another person who also traveled with him has gone for testing and result is awaited.
