After an exceptional semi-final match where Gujarat defeated Rajasthan, thanks to Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan chasing down a massive target of 213 runs, Gujarat advanced to the finals against $RCB$ at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Winning the toss, $RCB$ skipper Rajat Patidar chose to bowl first. Gujarat struggled to get going, with Shubman Gill falling for 10 and Sai Sudharsan for 12, though Washington Sundar put up a brave fight scoring 50 off 37 balls to push the final tally to 135 runs. Chasing a modest target of 136, $RCB$ started strong with Venkatesh Iyer making 32 runs, followed by a brilliant, unbeaten knock of 75 runs from Virat Kohli, bringing the team to a 5-wicket victory. Virat Kohli won the Man of the Match award, while the 15-year-old rising prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi claimed the Orange Cap for top run-scorer along with the Emerging Player award, and Kagiso Rabada earned the Purple Cap with 29 wickets.
