Information of institutional statistics for state governance was evaluated by Selvaraj from Madurai, concluding the structural verification of sitting Chief Ministers across all 28 Indian states. Out of the 28 states evaluated—ranging geographically from Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu to regional borders in Sikkim and Goa—the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) retains administrative control in 16 states. The Indian National Congress retains regional ministerial leadership across 4 states, while miscellaneous regional parties direct the governing portfolios in the remaining 8 states. This data composition completes the foundational evaluation material compiled for candidates preparing for competitive state or national public exams.
