I am Vasantha from Ottanchathiram. In Ottanchathiram lock there are 35 panchayaths. And in all 35 panchayaths list of people below poverty line being taken for insurance scheme. The name list and their adhar number will be given by Govt. We were taking survey of only such people. In survey we found that there are people who hold lands, Govt jobs, etc. But Govt has taken a list that they live below poverty line. When we asked what to do to add poor and needy people. For that they gave an empty application. In that application we are planning to give the names of needy people, their adhar card number, bank passbook number, ration card number. In all 35 villages of Ottanchathiram this work is happening. So everyone especially our lower caste people please give the copy of adhar card, ration card and passbook. Dont miss the chance and add your name.

I am Semmalar union incharge from Chellayapuram. Day by day corona is reaching different heights. And people are struggling without being able to go to work. Now people are thinking its ok if we are getting corona. Its better to die from corona than dying from hunger.

I am Ponmadathi. Its been 3 month of corona but corona is not ending. We dont have jobs, Govt is saying not to pay EB bill but again asking to pay bills, pay rent, pay loans. Without job how can we pay? If anyone else is asking we can approach Govt. If Govt is asking then to whom can we approach. Life has become struggle now.

I am Karpagavalli from Semmalar union. Lock down has been implemented due to corona virus. This is useful for safeguarding people from sickness. But this is difficult for daily wagers. There is no problem for rich people. But this is difficult for poor people. Now prices of things has been raised. During Diwali and Pongal prices are increased and thats ok but now already there is no work and they are increasing price at this time. So Govt should take actions to sell things on reasonable price.

i am nagarathinam.due to family problem and lack of income , women forced to go for work and apart from that, women facing sexual harassment and exploitation in working place. in this mobile radio, giving women empowerment related program and its useful. thank you

I am Rakkammal, adviser of Semmalar union. In Mettupatti village there are 9 girls students who have single parents/orphans. Even in this situation the parents are making them study. The sad part is, Dist topper Murugalakshmi is discontinuing her studies due to poverty and goes to fire office. She is unable to continue her studies in Mettupatti Govt college. When asked her, she says, her parents have got money for interest and due to poverty they are unable to continue her education.
