All of a sudden when he stopped drinking habit his body and mind couldn't resist it. Alcoholic people cannot stop it immediately. when they stop immediately all these symptoms will be seen. So to overcome these symptoms they go and drink again. They should get treatment in hospitals which are especially for this. But many are not aware of it. Lakshmi: Oh brother, only if I take him to the hospital he will be fine? Sathish: Yes dear!! Because your husband has an addiction. So defiantly medication is must. Lakshmi: Ok brother. If you have all these symptoms it means you need treatment. Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act 2013. Let us know what this act says about. Unpleasant touches, showing porn pictures, Sexual activities, saying sexual words or doing actions, Being hostile at workplaces, asking to do sexual acts. If you face any of these problems, do inform to the complaint department in the office. If your office has no complaint department, do ask for it and get it. The complaint should be filed within 90 days of the incident. Even if you have not been to office after that, till 90 days the complaint will be accepted. Company and the complaint department should take actions against the complaint. It is the duty of complaint dept to take actions, within 10 to 90 days of receiving the complaint. You have all th right to take medical assistance if you are being a victim of sexual assault. You can know about the actions taken by the company against your complaint. Do know about the complaint dept in your company. Information related to this dept will be given in the notice board of the company. June 12th, International day against Child labour. Though there are many laws against child labour, still the child labour system exists. By knowing that these child labours are going through Physical and psychological stress, International Labours Organisation has declared June 12th as day against Child labour in the year 2002. UNICEF organisation says that Child are born for you but they are not born only for you. By knowing the fact that only Govt cannot eradicate child labours, many Non Govt Organisations are trying to eradicate child labour. Today is the day to emphasize that children should live free with all their rights.
June 12th is celebrated as day against child labour. Though we think that we have eradicate child labour in India, but still there are some difference in policies. One is As per India, the age limit for child labour is 14. But as per UN nations, those who are below the age of 18 are called as child labours. On this base, India stands different. In Tamilnadu more than 4000 mills, textiles and functioning. Mainly they are hiring adult women as workers. Though we see it as these sectors are giving job opportunities to women, in other view if they are keeping the workers above 14 years, they cannot be treated as child labours. So the new BJP should increase the age limit to 18 years and decision should be taken in Loksabha and Parliament. And as per the UN nations law, those who are below the age of 18 should be considered as child labours. Not only that, In India they are many differences in laws. They have kept age limit for those who work in dangerous jobs is 18 years. Even in Juvenile justice act it is mentioned as 18 years. In other some acts it is mentioned as 16 years. Those companies which has SA2000 certificate has the workers above 16 years. So there are many differences in laws. Even if we take dangerous jobs, they are many differences in that too. So the center should work on all these differences and take a unique decision. We expect that on this day of day against child labour the Govt should take such move and announce all below 18 years as child labours.

In India from 1961 the maternity act is existing. The act was amended in 2017 so that the workers should get more benefits and it has been called as Maternity Amendment Act 2017. With this amendment act the maternity leave was extended from 12 weeks to 26 weeks. This act is applicable in all the companies where 10 or more women are working and it gives the privilege of taking paid leave for 26 weeks for the first 2 kids. If they have more than 2 kids, they can take 12 weeks leave. Under this new amendment, if there are 50 women working in a company, they should set up a daycare near to the company. And the company should allow the worker to see the child 4 times in a day. As per this new amendment act India takes 3 rd place in giving Maternity leaves. Canada take 1st place by giving 50 weeks leave and Norway takes 2nd place by giving 44weeks leave.
It is really sad to know that there is lack of professional association in mill and textile industries. Because in these mills the number of women workers will be more. There is no unions which can understand women. SO in our organization we have taken steps to make our organization as completely women based organization. We cannot say that e have got full victory in it but surely we are walking in the path of victory. we have almost 7000 members within 2 years we may reach 10000 members.. We have found many victory and changes by doing protest and by discussing with mills and government. Though the owners may defend themselves but they totally cannot avoid the voice of workers and unions. Sometimes we talk to them, sometimes we protest and sometimes we file cases. Secondly minimum wages. We need to consider unorganized workers. Nowadays mills are hiring contract staffs they get daily wages. These people cannot be considered as regular employees. These people have not unions. And no one or no unions work for them. So we consider that maximum of mill and textile workers as an unorganized worker. The mills have got the stay order to not to have unions for such people.
