I am calling from Ambedkar union. 7 of us in our village has got labours card. We have got Rs.1000. Thank to Ambedkar union. Ambedkar union has also identified 10 needy families in our village and gave 10kg rice to them.
News read by Muneeswari from Semmalar union. On 5th May Semmalar union weekly meeting was conducted over phone. Agendas were last week work sharing, filling the forms about the datas collected in each villages, preparation work to create whatsapp group for semmalar union branches, preparing questionnaires for NK survey, collecting the signed documents of people who receiver relief materials and next week planning. Last we have collected data in 4 villages. On May day letter was sent to Govt insisting the demands for labours. On May 4th second stage relief materials were distributed to poor and needy people. As next week we are planning to collect datas in some of the remaining areas.
I am Nataraj from Ambedkar union. On behalf of Ambedkar union we selected people who are suffering in 40 villages. We selected one family per village on basis of physically challenged, old age, widows. and gave them rice.

I am Arumugan from Ottancthiram. Provisions of Rs.300 is available at Rs.50. To control corona virus lock down is implemented in Tamilnadu. Common people are at homes without jobs. To fulfill their needs Adv. Vijaya Ramaneswaran and Private provisional shop owner Natarayan is giving set of provisions costing Rs.300 for Rs.50.
The whole world is scared now. This Corona is something which is making people afraid and feel bad. Daily we are listening in news about the hazard happening due to this. By overcoming this fear about this hazard Doctors, nurses, Sanitation workers are doing their duty. Even they have stress, for example, Doctors, nurses are not able to meet their families and kids from so many days. At this time, we need to be careful. The fear factor within us, we cannot avoid it. But there are somethings we can avoid. First is, we need not have to be worried or afraid. Many Doctors, nurses, sanitation workers are working for us and there is not need to suppress aside anyone just because you think you will get corona because of them. If anyone is dying because of corona then no corona virus will spread from the diseased person. If anyone is attending the funeral of the one who has lost his life due to corona, no need to stop them or no need protest for that. In this situation what we need is love and humanity. There should not be any space for fear, suppressing or for hatredness.

Vasantha Interviewing Ramayammal - She is not going for any work due to old age. She has lost her husband. Sometime she goes to 100 days work. There are 2 people in her house. She gets food only if she goes to work. She got Rs.1000 for Govt but she says thats not sufficient.

Agendas were- survey of destitute people for corona relief, document collection to get corona relief, NK popularizing work, branch data collection. We also discussed about giving relief for poor families.
