Hello friends, I am Sonu Gupta, a person with visual impairment in both eyes. I request the officials of Hamari Vaani to please broadcast this recording, as it is an important alert for our brothers and sisters with disabilities. A few days ago, I was sitting at platform number 16 of Old Delhi Railway Station around 10–11 a.m. There was peace around and no one was near me. A woman from Chhapra came to me and asked if I wanted food. I refused, but she forcibly fed me litti made of gram flour. After eating it, I started feeling sleepy, and she took advantage of the situation and stole my mobile phone worth around ten thousand rupees and my bowl. Therefore, whenever you go out, avoid taking out your mobile phone repeatedly, do not make or receive calls on the way, and avoid carrying expensive phones while traveling. Use a basic phone outside and use your smartphone only after reaching home. Because of this incident, I am currently unable to make calls. If anyone needs to contact me, please note my family’s number: 8953985441. I hope you all learn from this experience. I will meet you again with new information. Thank you very much.”
