If you already have an Ashodhya Card (also called the Red Card), you will automatically get the Ayushman Card. If you have a BPL card or the White Card, then it depends on your family size: If there are three members, the Ayushman Card cannot be issued. If there are four or five members, everyone can get the Ayushman Card. So, everyone should definitely get the Ayushman Card. Along with the Ayushman Card, another very important card is being issued, without which you cannot avail any benefits of the Ayushman Card. This card is called the ABHA Card. It is very important that you get the ABHA Card made as well. In your area, the ABHA Card is issued by ASHA workers, ANM nurses, or similar health workers in villages. You can contact them to get your ABHA Card created completely free of cost. They may charge a small nominal fee in some cases, but the government has instructed that it should be free. This card is being issued across all Indian states, including UP and Bihar. So, please make sure to get your ABHA Card.
