Hello, I am Suresh Ram from Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, speaking in Hamari Bani. A discussion is going on in Hamari Bani about who has benefitted and how much benefit they have received. So friends, I also joined in January 2020. I got the number from somewhere, and since then I have been regularly listening to Hamari Bani. The benefit I received is that I got the opportunity to connect with many people. And the biggest advantage is that I came to know about the various problems people face—whether related to pensions, bank accounts, family issues, or other challenges related to visual disability. Many of these problems were understood, and to some extent, solutions were also provided to some people. But I felt that even after so much has happened, after so many laws and awareness campaigns, even today there is a section of visually impaired people who are still struggling with many problems and are deprived of many facilities. So the biggest benefit I received from Hamari Bani is the realization that even in today’s developing India, when we talk about a developed nation, many of our visually impaired brothers and sisters are still uneducated and battling numerous issues. Their pensions are not being processed, their bank accounts are not opened, and many such problems continue, which we keep hearing on Hamari Vaani. This made me realize that there are still many challenges in our country.
