My name is Naresh Kumar, and I am speaking from Hisar, Haryana. I am 100% blind. Friends, I want to get some information. I have an account in SBI (State Bank of India). Recently, I deposited ₹1,500 into my account. The bank staff told me that I had to pay ₹20 extra — as some kind of charge. Earlier, they never used to take any such charge. But now, whenever I go to deposit money in the bank, they say, “Brother, give ₹10 or ₹20 extra, otherwise your money won’t be deposited.” When I went for the first time after a long gap — almost six months — I didn’t know about this. I gave ₹1,500, but they said it wouldn’t be deposited unless I added ₹1 more. So I gave ₹1,501, and only then did they deposit it. They told me, “Next time, bring extra ₹10–₹20, otherwise we won’t be able to deposit your money.” So, please tell me — earlier, there were no such charges, but now why are these extra charges being taken? For what reason are they taking this money? Whoever knows about this, please tell me. Keep listening to our voice — Namaskar!
