After that, you can pursue a diploma in music. If you just want to learn music informally, then someone can teach you, but you won’t get a degree for that. To get a degree or certification in music, a diploma is necessary. There are many types of diploma courses – for example, in computer programming, data entry operator, etc. In diploma courses, skills are taught, so you can choose a diploma in the skill you are interested in – whether it's music or computer, etc. If you want to do a diploma in music, then it is conducted by NIOS and also by many other colleges. After completing 12th, you can apply for a music diploma from NIOS or any other institution. The NIOS system is flexible, and it helps people who cannot attend regular schools. So, first complete your 10th and 12th from NIOS, and then go for the diploma.
